September is just about here, and before too long, the deluge of network debuts and returns will begin. That means it’s time for our yearly fall network TV preview. Noel and Kate talk through and give their thoughts on the upcoming slate of new primetime comedies and dramas, going network by network to highlight the shows we’re most excited for and those we’ll be avoiding. But before that, we have a full week of TV to break down, starting for once with the drama and genre offerings, Queen Sugar and The Terror: Infamy. Then we talk reality with the series finale of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath and the premiere of Good Eats: The Return, and we round out our week in TV with the comedies, including another enlightening Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj and a Patti-licious A Black Lady Sketch Show. Take a listen, then reach out with the shows are you most excited for, both new premieres and returnees.

Congratulations on the job, Noel. I had assumed you had one this whole time.
Would the timing ever be “good” for making a scummy politician sympathetic?
