I enjoyed this season of X-Files more than you, but I also decided not to watch the Chris Carter directed premiere/finale after seeing how lame his “My Struggle” mytharc episodes were in the previous season. I also don’t even remember the scene with the Cigarette Smoking Man, which is probably for the best.
People (such as me) watch Atlanta rather than Queen Sugar. Atlanta airs on FX, Queen Sugar on the Oxygen Network. I’ve heard Queen Sugar compared to Rectify, which I liked a lot, but I don’t know if I want another Rectify (I didn’t even need that final season of Rectify, though there was plenty to enjoy in it). There’s already so much tv, and since nobody (but you) is talking about Queen Sugar I don’t feel the need to watch it just to see what everyone’s talking about.
I was surprised people weren’t comparing Black Mirror: Bandersnatch to Mosaic, but then just a few minutes ago I read Todd Vanderwerff do so.
