After last week’s marathon session, Noel and Kate keep things a bit more regimented this week on the podcast. We kick things off with the comedies, including premiere talk for Veep and Silicon Valley, then check in on The Amazing Race. Next up are the genre offerings, including the Game of Thrones premiere and another strong Adventure Time, and we round out the week with the dramas, including the underwhelming Limitless finale and another powerful Underground. Afterward, we head to the DVD Shelf with pop culture critic and writer Jennifer Keishin Armstrong, who introduces us to The O.C. and ensures Phantom Planet’s “California” will be stuck in our heads for at least the next week.

I do watch Game of Thrones, so I hope you keep talking about it. I don’t watch Star Trek, but perhaps I’ll check out your talk at De Paul.
Regarding the Americans, I only have one complaint: what about Mail Robot? They planed a bug in it which should have picked up Beeman & Aderholt talking about their suspicions regarding Martha. Despite that, it’s still the best show on tv.
