It’s another stressful and potentially weird week in 2020 and time has been standing still. To help pass the time—and keep us from doomscrolling—we decided to dive in with a beloved series we had hardly any awareness of, the ‘00s sitcom Girlfriends. We used Alexis Reliford’s piece at The A.V. Club, “10 episodes of Girlfriends that celebrate the sisterhood of Black women”, as our guide and talked about our experience exploring the show.
